Maths - it is Rocket Science!

We are delighted to confirm that the popular ESERO Ireland/DPSM Maths - it is Rocket Science! summer course will run again this year in CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory, Cork; Dunsink Observatory, Dublin (with a visit to Armagh Planetarium) and Birr Castle in Offaly from July 1st - 5th.

The course looks at teaching science and maths through the theme of space and has attracted extremely positive feedback from participating teachers in previous years.

There will also be a new course in CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory, Cork specifically for teachers of infant and junior classes; Junior Rocket Scientists: Space Science as a Cross-Curricular Theme. This course will provide new ideas, creative resources and additional techniques to bring space science into the classroom.

Visit ESERO Ireland to register for these courses.
