Explore our solar system with Rosetta teaching resources
This teaching resource, targeted at children from 3rd - 6th class, is the perfect way to launch a mission of discovery of our Solar System. Guided by their teacher, the children will learn about the Sun, the eight planets, as well as many smaller bodies like comets. Children work in groups to research and learn about planets, moons, rings and asteroids and devise mnemonics for the order of the planets. This fun and creative research project will allow children to discover our closest neighbours in space and develop their communication skills by sharing their work with the class.
