Welcome to the updated Teachers section!
We have reorganised things a little in this area for the 2009 - 2010 school year. You'll note that the Resources area on the left hand side of the page is now split into Science and Maths resources.
This is because maths has been added to the Awards format this year, and we're excited to present an initial selection of maths activities and weblinks that you can use with your class. We'll be adding to this range as the year goes on. Keep an eye out for Molly and Spidey too, their flash activities could well have a maths flavour to them!
As ever you can avail of a range of resources by following the links listed below:
- Learn about Solar Energy as you help Molly and Spidey investigate how the sun provides heat and energy to the planet.
- Download our science activity sheets providing you with step by step instructions for all our fun science activities.
- Read our e-Newsletter, providing you with a wealth of information about the Discover Primary Science Programme and other general science based topics throughout the year.
- Find a Discover Science Centre in your area with our new interactive Google Map. With 28 Centres scattered throughout the island, you’re sure to find a convenient location for your school outing.
- Spend a rainy afternoon browsing some of the great Primary Science websites.
